To address the lack of indigenous technology capability in endoscopy, and to enable development of affordable, modular and upgradeable endoscopy instruments, Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre (HTIC), is in the process of developing a comprehensive technology platform that includes the various elements needed to develop an endoscope such as a video-processor hardware, intuitive graphical user interface with connectivity enabled software, intelligent image processing techniques for clinician assistance and guidance and tracking and guidance enabled flexible probes.
