The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualising, designing and executing modular virtual instruments for medical devices and automated testing systems using LabVIEW.

 

Primary Technical Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of virtual instruments and automated test and measurement systems and test routines using LabVIEW and National Instruments modular hardware

  • Development of high-level Vis with an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GuI), which can interface with third party software modules developed in C/C++/ Windows DLLs, and Matlab etc.

  • Development of LabVIEW Vis for real time signal processing and measurement using LabView Base and LabVIEW RT

  • Design and development of LabVIEW virtual instruments to interface high speed line-scan cameras and perform image processing and analysis.

 

Secondary Technical Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of electronics hardware and test-jigs for medical devices

  • Design and testing of experimental setups for electrical, mechanical or thermal measurements

  • Design, development, and testing of electromechanical systems for high accuracy motion and fluid control systems

 

Essential skill set required:

  • 4+ years of Experience in LabVIEW programming

  • Strong skills in LabVIEW and object-oriented programming in LabVIEW

  • Understanding of state-machine architecture-based Vis, pipelining using parallel loops and multithreading

  • Knowledge of memory and performance optimisation tools for LabVIEW Vis

  • Experience in building and deploying executables using LabVIEW

  • Working experience with NI Vision toolkit

  • Knowledge / working experience with high speed camera interface cards, digital I/O cards, interfacing of line scan cameras

  • Working knowledge of image-processing toolkit in LabVIEW / Matlab /Python

  • Work experience on cRIO / sbRIO / FlexRIO systems

  • Basic knowledge of instrumentation, sensors, and control systems

  • Working knowledge of electromechanical systems (motion controllers, fluid control systems etc)

 

Additional preferred skill set:

  • NI CLD/CLA ceritification

  • Programming skills ( C/C++/ Matlab/python)

  • Basic Electronic circuit design, board level, and system-level design understanding

  • Experience/exposure medical device design/diagnostics field ( 2+ years)

  • Exposure to embedded system design ( microcontroller, DSP, PLC etc.)

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Graduate (BE/B.Tech) or Post graduate (MS/M.Tech) degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience.

 

CTC

  • Rs. 4 - 7 Lakhs ( for candidates with less than 5 years experience)

  • Rs. 7 - 12+ Lakhs (for candidates with more than 5 years industry experience. Final CTC to be decided based on skill, expertise and experience and is negotiable)
