Malay Shah

Malay Shah received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras, India and the B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from the K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai University, India, in 2015 and 2012, respectively. His masters research project involved designing and developing an image-free, intelligent, and affordable ultrasound system for noninvasive evaluation of arterial stiffness for cardiovascular screening.

He deals with the projects involving sensors and circuits, virtual instrumentation, system integration, and medical device development. His research interests include biomedical electronic systems, In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) instruments, medical ultrasound systems, cardiovascular and respiratory diagnostic devices, Cuff-less Blood pressure measurement devices. His interests apart from biomedical devices include virtual instrumentation and Embedded systems.
