Solder Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Soldering and reworking of all the components.

  • Physical inspection, testing and trouble shooting of PCB.

  • Maintain high quality standards and workmanship.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

  • Complete documentation in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.

  • Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified.

  • Notify management of errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the supervisor.

  • Travel locally for work and purchase.

 

Qualification:

 

Education & Experience:

  • Diploma in EEE, EIE, ECE, or other relevant course of study or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Experience: 1-2 years electronic soldering or equivalent experience

 

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good working skills on soldering and reworking of pin through hole, SMD/SMT and RF/Microwave components. Experience on BGA rework station will be an added advantage.

  • Usage of basic testing equipment (CRO/Multimeter) & tools.

  • Understanding of basic electronic theory, technical documents such as schematics block diagrams and data sheet.

  • Ability to work safely with minimal or no direct supervision.

  • Ability to work with changing demands in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to work from verbal directions.

  • Common sense approach to troubleshooting.

  • Ability to learn and take constructive feedback from peers, leads and / or managers.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Good Computer knowledge.

Salary:

CTC: Rupees 1,80,000 - 2,40,000
