Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with research and development team to understand the product, its capabilities and limitations.

• Create detailed and exhaustive test plan covering all the product requirements.

• Execute test cases, create test reports and maintain detailed documentation where required.

• Use defect tracking tools to report bugs and follow up for fixes till closure.

• Write automation scripts to reduce manual effort where applicable.

• Participate in code reviews and other discussions to provide a tester’s perspective to problems.

• Anticipate problems proactively and escalate as required.

• Exceptional analytical ability to understand product requirements.

• Excellent coding skills especially in Python. C/C++ and MATLAB would be bonus.

• Experience using tracking tools like JIRA and version control systems like Github.

• Excellent documentation skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of testing embedded code.

• Experience creating test plan against IEC or other standards
